For intracutaneous suturing
The intracutaneous suture is usually continuous and is performed with either a curved cutting needle or a straight cutting needle As this method involves removal of the suture, a monofilament, non-capillary material with a very smooth surface is required.
The set consists of
- Premilene® suture, a flexible monofilament made of blue polypropylene
- 2 different coloured fixation clips (red and yellow)
- 1 curved reverse cutting or straight cutting needle: strong, ductile and atraumatic Easylide needle

Indication
- Securex® is indicated for tissue approximation in all dermal wounds (intracutaneous suture) that are not under tension and where the most favourable cosmetic result is desired
