E-health technology in renal care

Digitalization and automation are powerful contributors in overcoming health-care challenges of today and tomorrow. NEXADIA® provides e-health technology for renal care centers enabling to have more time for patient care, creating modern working environment for clinical staff and contributing to improved therapy outcomes.

NEXADIA® monitor

NEXADIA® monitor is available in two variants:NEXADIA® monitor Lite as unidirectional solution: Digital treatment protocol: Complete automatic treatment documentation of connected medical devices such as dialysis machines, scales, or analyzers. NEXADIA® monitor 2 as full bidirectional solution: Digital treatment protocol and automatic transfer of prescription parameters to Dialog machines. NEXADIA® monitor 2 is classified as medical device in most countries. NEXADIA® monitor is a fully specialized monitoring solution for nephrology and hemodialysis, providing a user-friendly comprehensive range of functionality for all patient care staff involved. Data generated by connected dialysis machines, analyzers and patient scales during the hemodialysis treatments is automatically transferred and saved to NEXADIA® monitor, visualizing health data for monitoring and allowing convenient editing and processing treatment data. Your Benefits:Less administrative workload for clinical staff for more time with the patient through digitalization and automation of routine HD treatment tasks such as patient weight capturing, UF rate calculation, treatment protocol documentation, or reporting of clinical and reimbursement data for billing purposes. Modern working environment for nursing staff and physicians.Increased process efficiency before, during and after dialysis treatments Significantly increase of data quality and quantity for each patient treatment for better informed medical decisions.Reduced risk of adverse events caused by manual input errors for more patient safety.

This questionnaire is supposed to provide support in configuring your system to achieve the best possible NEXADIA® performance. Please enter your current or desired system configuration and we will come back to you with an estimation if your system does support a NEXADIA® installation.

1. Specification for NEXADIA® system

The system requirements of NEXADIA® depend on the number of connected dialysis machines, the number of work stations and strongly on the number of patients. Please enter your center setup.

2. System configuration

The NEXADIA® system as a combination of software and hardware utilizes a configured network of at least one server and one workstation. To run NEXADIA® in a proper way each computer must meet the requirements. Ideally, you are able to run NEXADIA® and the corresponding database on two separate servers.

2.1 Server configuration

Please specify the configuration of the server that will run NEXADIA®.

2.2 Client configuration

Please specify the configuration of the work stations. Client support only for Windows 10.

3. Windows account

It is mandatory to create a local windows account with administrator privileges and permissions. This account must not be subject to password expiration and must be permanently on the server. 

4. SQL server

Please specify the configuration of the server that will host the databases. It is mandatory to store the database content files (.mdf) and the database logfiles (.ldf) on separate physical hard disk drives. Alternatively, solid state drives may be used.

5. Terminal server

Please specify the configuration for your terminal server. Recommended minimum configuration for a terminal server in a typical NEXADIA® network with about 10 sessions.

Please note that some of the devices need a special hardware/software setup which is dependent on the manufacturing series.

Device not listed?

In general any device using a RS232 interface can be integrated. The specific adaption is done by a software driver module for the specific device. Many driver modules for common medical protocols like ASTM, LIS2, LIS3 and others are already existing, feel free to contact us about the terms of integrating new equipment.
